Studies have found that having an animal companion around helps our health, but how? This page will be showing you the power of a pet.

The wide variety of pets can help people with a wide variety of heath problems. 

People who need more activity can adopt playful and energetic pets such as dogs. People who struggle relaxing can take care of calm animals such as cats, or small creatures like bunnies. People who struggle day to day can sometimes even receive assistance animals who can then take care of one another. The range of beautiful creatures allows us to see what kind of animal companion would suit us and our lifestyles best.

Improvement in mood and mental health

It has been proven clear that spending time with animals improves our mood. Its a way to get distracted from bad things that may be going on and focus on happiness and love. So then when we live with one of these lovely creatures, they can in time positively impact our mental health. Whether its a more positive outlook on life, or a great de-stress, animals are always there to cheer us up.

Having a pet helps you connect socially

Whether its in person while walking you're dog or through social media pages, having pets helps you to connect with people who share things in common. Pets can also be great conversation components to help get to know people a little bit better, or to connect through similarity.

At the end of the day caring for a pet is also caring for yourself.
